Paid Media Manager | CPT

We are looking for an omni channel PaidMedia Manager to join our growing operation as part of the  Cape Town or Joburg office with at least 2+years experience in managing digital paid media campaigns for a range portfolios of clients, ranging from large to medium sized campaigns.

 

You will be responsible for maximising clients’ digital budgets according to their required goals. The role includes campaign implementation, optimisation, analysis and reporting. You will act as a technical contact between digital leads, clients service, clients and fellow media managers. You must therefore be able to communicate effectively and manage internal and external client expectations.

 

Requirements:

  • Must have a passion   for digital marketing and wanting to build a career within the digital space
  • Proven track record  running performance-lead digital campaigns
  • Ability to set up   standard & custom pixel events and conversion tracking across Meta, Twitter, LinkedIn and TikTok
  • Ability to set-up   conversion tracking across Paid Social and GA4
  • Minimum proven 2   years experience in running campaigns across digital  paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, *Advantageous: DV360, X,     LinkedIn) 
  • Experience in   managing digital campaigns with performance   driven goals
  • Experience with   managing digital campaigns for video & mobile
  • Must know how to   work with budgets and how to allocate them effectively 
  • Ability to     troubleshoot tech issues within buying platforms  and present solutions
  • Must have the  ability to understand and interpret strategy and execute this  within applicable platforms
  • Ability to analyze   campaigns & implement strategy based  on findings
  • Ability to conduct   post-campaign analysis and to present that to Digital Leads and client

Your tasks:

 

·      Employ Strategic Campaign set up with sufficient research and following direction given by the Digital Lead

·       Analyse campaign performance and make recommendations for optimization

·       Regular review of performance of campaigns across performance and pacing

·       Ensure campaign delivery against spend goals and Key Performance Indicators as established with the client and digital leads.

·       Daily monitoring of campaigns to ensure performance goals and objectives are met

·       Cross platform monthly reporting based on campaign KPIs

·       Cross platform post campaign assessment reports to gauge overall campaign performance

·       Ensure all correct media costs are reported on a monthly basis

·       Ensure all administration is accurate and up to date

·       Being able to motivate oneself& to continue self development

·       Close daily collaboration with digital lead to understand client’s goals and needs, communicating campaign metrics and performance as needed

·       Campaign performance analysis and presentation to digital lead and / or client service lead for all campaigns

·       First level of troubleshooting and triage on technical and performance related issues

 

Qualifications and experience

·      A tertiary degree is required preferably within Marketing

·      2+ years’ experience in digital media campaign management

·      A track record of outstanding professional performance is essential

Essential certifications in at least three of the following:

·      MetaCertified Digital Marketing Associate

·      MetaCertified Media Planning Professional

·      MetaCertified Media Buying Professional

·      GoogleAds Video Certification

·      GoogleAds Display Certification

·      GoogleAds - Measurement Certification

Advantageous experience in the following:

 

·     Experience working in a Media Agency

·     Experience with Facebook Pixel implementation and X Conversion implementation.

·     Experience with Google Analytics and how to implement & interpret data

·     Ability to build reporting templates which issued for client

·     Experience with Monday.com project management platform

·     Experience in TikTok for Business

 

Experience on the following platforms:

·      Experience building campaigns in DV360 (Preferred)

  • Google Analytics (Required)
  • LookerStudio dash-boarding (Beneficial)
  • App Advertising - Acquisition & Retention (Required)
  • Google Marketing Platform (Beneficial)
  • TikTok for Business  (Beneficial)
  • Meta Business Manager (Required)
  • Facebook/Instagram Ads (Required)
  • Extensive Google Ads Experience (preferred)

  • Tableau/Data Studio or similar data analysis tools (preferred)
