 Asa Digital ECD, you are responsible for overseeing the exceptional crafted execution of innovating ideas and impactful digital designs

 

To this end we are looking for the following:

Conceptual thinking:

  • You are ultimately responsible for the quality of thinking that you and the teams produce. This should consistently be of exceptional quality
  • You should both develop and inspire great, fresh, impactful and integrated thinking
  • You need to seek out and encourage diverse thinking and ideas

Execution:

  • You are the benchmark of quality and the standard for your discipline in the agency
  • Your copy should be flawless, beyond question and the envy of all around you

  • You develop and produce creative  and functional digital designs that meet the client’s communications objectives and drive business results in response to creative briefs
  • Lead and inspire ArtDirection and Digital design best practice

Production:

  • You should feel confident having the final say on work before it goes to client and to live on digital platforms
  • You will be responsible for all production decisions: choice of suppliers and the quality of work you extract from them

Technical ability:

You have a deep and extensive understanding of how different digital platforms work and how to best leverage them and mentor your team on these platforms through up skilling and mentoring

Presentation:

  • You present work with conviction – from strategy to creative execution
  •  People& Relationship management:
  • Probably the most important part of your job. You need to successfully rally all agency disciplines to help solve problems and create great for work the client
  • You are also responsible for the happiness, performance and motivation levels of the entire creative department
  • You need to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and leadership skills

 

8+years’ experience as a Digital Designer in the advertising industry or digital agencies

3+years’ experience as a Creative Director or leadership role
